There is no quick fix to stop child abuse, but there is something significant you can do to prevent future generations from ever knowing the pain it causes.
By leaving a bequest to our Abused Child Foundation, you will give us the best gift of all – the ability to keep saving more and more children from violence and emotional pain, no matter what the future brings. A donation to the foundation gives forever, because we use only the interest it earns, not the capital.
What a generous gesture and gracious legacy to leave behind!
Three ways to include us in your estate
1. To have a confidential no-obligation discussion about including us in your estate, please call Karyn Lambert on 07 3857 8866.
2. Simply include this passage in your will:
“I give [if not the entire estate, insert percentage or share] of my real and personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever situate not otherwise disposed of by this Will and Codicil, including ay property over which I have any power of testamentary disposition (hereinafter called “my residuary estate”) unto my trustees UPON TRUST for the Abused Child Trust (trading as ACT for Kids) of 4/14 Merivale Street, South Brisbane, Queensland, for the general purposes of the Trust, absolutely and the receipt of the Proper Officer shall be a full discharge to my trustees.”
3. Make a bequest through the Public Trustee. ACT for Kids has established a charitable fund with the Queensland Community Foundation – a public charitable trust managed by the Public Trustee. You can make a bequest or gift to us through the Queensland Community Foundation.
