It will come as no surprise to you that the current economic downturn has profoundly affected organisations like ours. We rely on the generousity and goodwill of people like you who care enough to support the work we do. Unfortunately individual supporters and businesses that we've come to rely on are no longer in a position to support us as strongly as they have in previous years.

The stress that the recession places on at-risk families also has implications we would like to be able to address. In times like these the demands for our services are stretched well beyond our current capacity. Today we cannot help all the children and families that are in need. That's why I'm making a special appeal to you now for financial assistance.

By making tax-deductible donation to ACT for Kids today it will help reduce your tax. But more importantly it allows us to keep making a difference for abused and neglected children. Kids like Nathan (who you can read about by downloading our newsletter from the homepage of this website) - a little boy who has had a far-from-perfect start to life, but now looks to a much brighter future.
