	New program to cut youth crime The Abused Child Trust has revealed ambitious plans to prevent young people from entering a life of crime when it launches an innovative program for youth at risk in the state’s Far North next month. Communities Minister Lindy Nelson-Carr today announced $1.175M per annum to the organisation so it can establish a Young Offender Community Response Service for children and adolescents (aged 8-15) who have had early brushes with the law.
